Week 1 Rankings

So I finished 32 in the FantasyPros Weekly Accuracy Challenge two years ago. I stepped up my game a little and manage to finish 15th last year.

And now I’m aiming for the Top 10. There are some really tough names I’ll have to pass in order to do so, but we’ve all gotta have goals, right?

Week 1 is one of the toughest weeks to rank (in my opinion), because we don’t know anything yet. We think we know which defenses are bad from last year, but players/coaches/schemes changed over the offseason. We think we know something based on preseason depth charts, but then Kevin Ogletree happens. I’m trying to stay a little more conservative this week and pick my shots based on what I think are good matchups, but there is bound to be at least a few batshit crazy things that happen this weekend.

This isn’t the week to get cute (although Green Bay in Seattle does worry me a bit). You drafted your starters as starters for a reason (because they’re good), so try not to overthink things too much. Or, at least that’s what I tried to do.

Without further ado…My Week 1 Rankings:
